Cruisin'

How do we pass the time when Daddy's away? We go cruisin' on the red Radio Flyer tricycle. Luci's almost got it down. Occationally she will pedal and move forward about five inches, but most of the time she pats the back of the seat and wants me to push her.

Where in the World is Sergio?

Don't worry I know where he is, sort of. He's spending the next two weeks in the country of Chile on a mission trip. I've talked to him twice and he said things were going well. In the meantime, I've been home wondering how many more toddler/preschooler messes it will take before I totally loose my cool (if I even had any coolness to begin with is debatable). Joshua and Luci are quite the pair and thanks to her big brother Luci has learned to say "No Way!" Just what I need, a sassy 21 month old. Luci only calls one family member by name, "JA-josh". Everybody else except "Dada" is called "Mama".

Lisa's Pony Party

We celebrated Lisa's 6th birthday at our house this weekend. Somehow we can't have a party with out horses or ponies being part of the theme. Lisa's theme was My Little Pony. She has quite a collection now of horses and ponies. Can you guess what she wished for when she blew out her six candles?

They grow up so quickly . . .

Linda turned 8 in January

Lisa will be turning 6 in April

Joshua will be 4 years old in August

Lucinda will be 2 years old in July

Where does the time go? Our "crew" is growing up. Holly keeps asking, "Where did my babies go?" To which Joshua usually answers, "Here I am!"

All by herself . . .

In March 2006, while Sergio was hard at work in Manassas, VA, Holly took Linda, Lisa, Joshua, and Lucinda to the heart of our nation's capital. She managed to snap a picture of the older three in front of the Washington Monument while in route to the main attraction, "The Dinosaur Bones" at the Museam of Natural History. Joshua and the girls thought they were cool!

















During the same week in Washington D.C., Holly and the kids had an opportunity to visit our friends, the Nelson, in Virginia. Steve is a Pastor and he and Angela have two daughters, Anna and Sarah. Steve recently acquired some chickens and are raising them to lay eggs. It doesn't great fresher than that!

Lisa's Birthplace

In March of 2006, The Arce'S visited Salisbury, Maryland, Lisa's birthplace. Being so close to the coast, we couldn't leave without a trip to Assateauge Island where wild ponies still roam free since the 1500's.
